Will Smith: Touching lines to his "wonderful son"
Actor Will Smith, 50, is currently in Abu Dhabi with his eldest son Trey, 26, as he tells in a video on Instagram. He likes to do individual things with each of his three children, so that they have their "individual daddy time". As the stirred US star continues to tell, his son said to him this time: "You know, what I just noticed? You're not just my dad ..., I'm pretty sure you're my best friend, too." That makes him very proud, says Will Smith.
In his commentary on the video, he also explains that it was not always so between them. "After my divorce from his mother, we fought for years and he felt betrayed and abandoned." The Hollywood star is all the more pleased that he and his "wonderful son" were able to restore their "loving relationship".
Trey comes from Smith's first marriage (1992-1995) with actress Sheree Zampino (51). Since 1997 he is married in second marriage with Jada Pinkett Smith (47). The two have the common children Jaden (20) and Willow Smith (18).
