Whoopi Goldberg: She almost died of pneumonia

Fluid in the lungs
In the short clip, which was recorded during the show, she came straight to the point. She was back on her feet. Although she is not traveling as fast as she would like, "but I'm fine, I'm not dead." Then the actress and presenter tells us that she had severe pneumonia and blood poisoning. Fluid had accumulated in both lungs.
"And yes, I was very close to leaving this earth," continues Goldberg. After thanking her for the many recovery wishes she had received, she also stated that she would return soon and then talk more about everything on the show.
