Transformed by affection: Fighting dog gets petted for the first time

Anyone who has been constantly trained to radiate strength and dominance may initially have difficulty accepting feelings and affection. Two and four-legged animals differ in no way.

No wonder then that this pit bull, trained by the previous owner as a pure fighting dog "farm animal", reacts skeptically when a hand reaches out to him. After the first loving touch of a nurse, but he seems to put off any mistrust and does not get enough of the newly discovered pats.
