The Expanse: Sci-Fi series may go on Amazon in the fourth season

The next sold-off series is saved: After NBC has already taken over the Fox-sorted out "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" under his wing, has now been announced that also the canceled "The Expanse" will continue. According to the "Coming Soon" site, Amazon boss Jeff Bezos (54) announced that his company would produce the fourth season of the science fiction series after the station SYFY saw no future for "The Expanse".

Thus, the current third season still aired on the old station home, then the show moves to the streaming provider. "The Expanse" is about a dystopian future about 200 years away from our present time, where humanity has populated some parts of the solar system, such as Mars or the Moon. But there are immense political and social tensions between the earth and the individual space colonies; a war seems inevitable. So far, 28 episodes of the series have been produced.
