Stranger pays woman shopping? when she finds out who it was, she is stunned

For Therra Cathryn it has been really crappy in the last few years (Pardon!). Much too early, the US-American lost her still-young mother to Hurricane Katrina (2005). And when she later found another human who gave her support, fate struck again: a brain tumor cost her husband's life. "I gave everything physically, emotionally and financially for four years to get out of this hole," the young woman shares on Twitter.

But now something happened that "rekindled" the light, as Cathryn himself writes. And at the cash register of a supermarket.

The classic: cashier mixed the purchases

lI said to the lovely young cashier, "Oh no, sorry, that's mine. So sorry."

"I might as well get it," he said.

Wait. What.

Long story short, he bought all my groceries. I even tried to stop the cashier at a certain amount and he stopped me, "I said I got this," he said.

Everything started with the cashier accidentally mixing their purchase with that of their front man. "I said 'Oh no, I'm sorry, that's mine,'" the young woman says on Twitter. But the customer's reaction to her left her speechless. "He said, 'I'll take care of that,' and paid for my entire purchase," said Cathryn, who, in gratitude, promptly brought tears to his eyes.

What you need to know: The mentally unstable woman is financially on the limit? She could only have paid for this purchase with a voucher that a friend had given her. But the stranger knew that as well as the loss of her husband or her mother, when he finally let a total of good 320 euros jump for his and her shopping.

I was gobsmacked and in a minute I'll tell you why. James Bond, like a Batman, like the Black Panther. Then I started to cry.

I asked his name. "Chris," he said.

Benefactor turns out to be rapper Ludacris

"Who are you?" Cathryn asked her benefactress, whom she also referred to as "black James Bond" and "Batman" in another tweet. "Just a guy," the man answered and told her at least her first name: Chris. But when Chris had left with his stuff and while Cathryn still stowed their purchases, the cashier brought light into the darkness: "You realize that was the Ludacris, right?"

Cathryn lost her temper when she realized that the famous rapper and entertainer had just paid for their purchase and hugged her goodbye. "I probably did not recognize him through my tears," tweeted the American, "He used his own light to make my light shine, everyone like Ludacris, people!"

He uses his personal light to fire up my own. Is not that what we should do for each other?

I think it is.

Be like Ludacris y'all.

I know I'm gonna give it a try.

Thank you, Chris. God bless you.

Granted, except for Cathryn's Twitter thread and some media coverage (for example, "E! News", "Huffpost"), there's no evidence that this story happened like that. At least there are no indications on the social media channels of Ludacris. But it can hardly hurt if we take the story as an opportunity to look more closely at the supermarket in the future, who pays the cash in front of us ...
