"Some will hate it": Lena Gercke makes strong announcement on Instagram

No way!Lena Gercke has now announced a surprising step: The model wants to show up on Instagram in the future of course ? without any filters, retouching or Photoshop processing.

She shared her decision in a post that showed her exactly how she would like to be perceived: as a natural beauty. "Today is the day I start to post more such pictures, no filters, no retouching, no photoshop," wrote the 30-year-old to her photo. "Some will hate it, some will like it, but that's me and that's the reality."

She is fed up with the retouched photos that she sees everywhere. Gercke also addressed her fans directly: "To be honest with you and even more important to be honest with myself is what my real self desires." For those who do not want to follow this path with her, she has a special advice: "Unfollow." 

Today is the day where i will start to post more pictures like this. No filter, no retouch, no photoshop. Some of you want to get it, some of you will like it. But this is me and this is reality. I'm sick of all these fake retouched pictures i see everywhere. Being honest to you is the real me desires. So far, Lenas contribution already pleases more than 136,000 Instagram Usen. And also us! Because even though we all know that is tricked and tuned at Instagram, where it is possible: Hand on heart, who has not looked down while scrolling through the endless series of beautiful photos and get a bad mood?

Yet the net should be exactly the opposite: a place that stimulates exchange and encourages us; who shows us that we are completely normal? with pimples on the chin, without make-up or with pigment spots on the skin. That does not mean that we should show ourselves only unfavorably. But one step to more naturalness we find great.
