Sex education: The hot series hit comes back with a second season

Nearly 40 million households streamed, according to Netflix in the past four weeks, the series "Sex Education" and fell in love with the slippery plot and the open handling of sex. Both the numbers and the reviews spoke for themselves, after all, brought the series to the main character Otis (Asa Butterfield, "Hugo Cabret") strong 88 percent on the film and series page "Rotten Tomatoes". Now the streaming portal responds with a video on the Facebook page of "Sex Education" and announces: Yes, there is a second season.

The second season should get another eight episodes. The main cast of Asa Butterfield as Otis, Gillian Anderson as his mother Jean, Ncuti Gatwa as Eric, Otis' best friend, Emma Mackey as outsider Maeve, Kedar Williams-Stirling as head boy Jackson and Connor Swindells as Adam has also been confirmed by Netflix.



What is the new series about?

Virgo Otis does not have it easy as the only child of the open-hearted sex therapist Jean. But just because the parents do not mince matters in terms of sexuality, the nerd has a terrific expertise. Without further ado, Otis establishes a secret underground sex practice at Moordale High School with rebel Maeve and his best friend Eric. There he gets to hear and see a lot despite good pay. Yet Otis really does not want anything else than somehow without major damage to graduate and finally find love.
