No snow in sight again? This is the do-it-yourself winter!

So, again January. And again, absolutely no snow in sight. At least not for normal mortals who live below the 1000-meter mark. The January should be white and glittering cold, right? But no, he prefers an autumn storm in his luggage. It does not matter, because luckily you can build your own winter in Germany! By the way, this works with these three tips even in the summer, if you do not feel like sweating anymore:

If you just want to churn out a new round, you can do it all year round in some Globetrotter branches. In Dresden, Hamburg and Munich there are cold stores in the shops, in Dresden even with real snow. Actually for testing winter clothes. If they have something against, if you bring a thermos with mulled wine and makes it a little longer comfortable? Oh ... definitely not!

That too is not impossible. Every Saturday in Schüttorf, the world's largest ice bar opens its icy doors. Thick jackets, gloves, caps, everything on site to borrow. That's where vodka, gin and co burn even more deliciously in the throat. By the way, you can find ice bars in other places as well. Just listen, because when you're on the rocks, the drink tastes much better.

Then off to a snow hall. Of that there are so many in Germany: In Bispingen, Bottrop, Neuss, Oberhof, Senftenburg and Wittenburg, tobogganing and skiing is fortunately no question of the weather. Here you can skid up and down for hours. That makes the head so buzzing in the long run, that you forget sometime anyway, that the temperatures outside are in two digits. And anyway: Who cares?
