Bastian Yotta: "I am so disappointed with my own father"
Hardly anyone in the jungle camp polarized viewers this year as much as Bastian Yotta (42). Especially the feud with Chris Töpperwien (44) lasted for the whole two weeks. But also the serious allegations against his father divided the fans in two camps. Did he really beat him during childhood? It was not enough for you just for the finals. Are you disappointed or proud of what you have achieved?
Bastian Yotta: I think that's sensational. Especially with regard to the headlines that my manager showed me. What was done by the media against me ... Feels that this is a first place. Horny, how strong my support from the fans was. Thanks to all who supported me: You are the best!
Of course they polarized in the camp, so the many headlines. After the few hours in freedom, would you do anything different?
Yotta: I would do it again as well. It must also be said that I did much more than what was shown. That is always just a compilation, partially torn out of context. I definitely gave 100 percent.
Of course, one of the big issues of this year's jungle camp was the feud between you and Chris. Have you met outside?
Yotta: No, not yet. But I must say very clearly: The hatchet is buried for me and everything that was told in the jungle behind any back, should also stay in the jungle.
Nevertheless, Chris has always tried to provoke you again and again, to which you have reacted surprisingly calm. How close to the explosion were you in the meantime?
Yotta: Yeah, I had to pull myself together. He's been trying to provoke me for 16 days in a tour. Even after we made peace, he continued to do so. That's why I said at the campfire just last: "Chris, please red 'continue with my water bottle."
You talked about your difficult childhood in the jungle. According to your statements, you have been beaten by your father. He reacted meanwhile and called you a liar. What do you think?
Yotta: Today is the day I lost all respect for my father. He could have said, "Yes, that's true and I'm sorry." I have been waiting for this for 42 years. Last year, my beloved grandparents died as the last witnesses, and now he opens his mouth and says it is not true. This man has no backbone, no eggs. I am so disappointed with my own father. Madness.

Yotta: Anyone who saw me on the jungle phone knows I'm telling the truth. If that had been done then I would be one of the most successful actors in Hollywood. One has to imagine: I told in front of cameras that I still love and want to contact him. And his reaction is to call me a liar. The man is beyond help. I think that does not make sense anymore.
Again and again it was discussed that you have become narrower in the camp. How much mass did you lose?
Yotta: Sage and write seven kilos! That's a lot, considering that I've already gone into the jungle with little fat. That has pretty much pulled down.
Peter, Felix and Evelyn are in the final. Who will make the race in your eyes?
Yotta: All three are rightly in the finals and all three are great personalities, each in his own way. But I think Felix will prevail. He is a son-in-law, as he is in the book, becoming the father of a family with the pregnant girlfriend at home. I think he rocks that. But I would like Peter because I am very friendly with him.
