Morrissey: A fan stormed to the stage
The end of this concert, both the British rock legend Morrissey (59) and the audience had certainly presented differently. During a gig in San Diego, the musician was attacked by one of his own fans on his song "Every Day Is Like Sunday", so that the concert had to be stopped and the 59-year-old had to be escorted back to safety by the security people. An audience member filmed the tumultuous scene and released the recording on YouTube.
However, Morrissey later made it clear on his Facebook page that the scene was more harmless than it looked. Nobody tried to beat him. "The fans just did what they've been doing for the last 30 years, trying to jump onto the stage to touch or hug him, the fanatic in question was a little more aggressive than usual, so the security had to do its job and keep the fan under control, nobody was injured or arrested in the end, "the statement says.
