Greetings from the patron Janina Kugel

"Our lives are on the move, and we also work more often: in the train, at the airport, in the café or at home, digitalisation makes it possible, its dynamics are changing our working lives in all its aspects, new business models emerge, new ones Services and new forms of co-operation But there is a comparatively deadlock in one area: for decades we have been trying to better promote women's working lives and we are waiting in vain for the big breakthrough - despite quotas, target agreements and good intentions.

Why? Because we still often think that family is alone? And because this, combined with a job for many women leads to a double burden. At the same time, every person should be able to pursue a meaningful professional task? and at the same time have a private life worthy of the name. Digitization gives us opportunities to work more flexibly. But this gift must benefit everyone equally, women and men alike. And in order to do justice to the tasks in all areas, we often have to make men more responsible at home too.

Another chance: Many companies are repositioning themselves in the course of digitization. Away from rigid departmental boundaries to agile project work and communication platforms that equally benefit the trainee and the board. This offers new opportunities to get involved and make your own performance visible. But that has to happen actively. Working 4.0 should not mean four times more stress on women. But that we have four times more chances to finally catch up. "
