Fashion label provokes with sexist advertising - but this time the men are naked

That half-naked women lolling on any hoods and promote car brands, is a well-known picture. One that is not as common today as it was 20 years ago, because the big brands have meanwhile checked out, how shit the sexualization of women is for advertising, but that there are still too many campaigns of this kind, shows alone even "Terre des femmes" every year with the "angry cactus" (read more on ChroniquesDuVasteMonde.com).

Fashion label turns the tables

The fashion label Suistudio has just turned the tables on 180: For their new collection, female models posing in suits with male models? in the Adam costume.

Neither the best piece nor the face of the men is to be seen, because in the photos they are not human, but only object or means to an end: be attractive and market!

The label, which exclusively offers suits for women, advertises with the slogan:

We sepcialize in suits, but we're not dressing men

Translated, this means something like: "We specialize in suits, but do not wear men"? basically 1 to 1, which is what the pictures tell us ...

Is reverse sexism okay now?

NO!Sexist advertising stinks! It does not matter if men or women are made objects in it. That's why Suistudio's campaign is questionable. Nevertheless, the label has put the photos sexism in advertising targeted and provocative to the pillory, by mirroring the usual roles. Maybe that's the way the message gets to people who have not yet recorded it ...
