Eva Green: With this look she noticed the red carpet
Where are the boundaries between art and fashion blurring? Art fans may have been thrilled at the sighting of actress Eva Green (38, "Penny Dreadful") at the "Dumbo" premiere in Hollywood. For some other fashion lovers, the dress of the 38-year-olds might have been a bit too extravagant. The French actress presented a design by the Dutch designer Iris van Herpen (34) on the red carpet.
Designer with extravagant style
The Dutchwoman is known for her unique, architecturally inspired avant-garde designs, according to "Elle". The dress, which Greens stylist Leslie Fremar had chosen for the world premiere of the new Disney film, comes from van Herpen's couture collection for summer 2019. The white, transparent material creates a wavy pattern on black lines.
In order to allow the dress to speak for itself, Eva Green stayed behind with styling and accessories otherwise. Her dark hair was banded into a tall messy bun, her feet tucked into black strappy stilettos. On mascara, the 38-year-old seemed to have completely omitted, while her lips lit up in a rich red tone.
