Designer Lena Hoschek reveals: This trend is an imposition - and does not work!

We love trends? some, however, more than others. Fashion designer Lena Hoschek is no different. At the Fashion Week in Berlin, the Austrian just presented her collection 'Men at work' and showed there a lot of trend pieces for the autumn / winter of 2019. On a garment renounced the 37-year-old, however? and for a good reason.

The influencers are already wild about it and even at the Fashion Week you hardly saw a show without it. We are talking about THE comeback of the year: the cycling shorts! For Lena Hoschek a trend that would have liked to disappear forever.

I can not believe they are back

said Lena Hoschek in an interview with ChroniquesDuVasteMonde.com.

The reason is obvious for the celebrated designer. While she puts on feminine cuts that flatter any woman perfectly, the cycling pants does not do anything for us.

This is a common garment that only someone can invent, assuming that every woman has the perfect figure? slender legs, a small ass, thigh gap and a washboard stomach.

What looks good with the models on the catwalk, is not always something for the woman on the edge of the catwalk? and that's okay too. Fortunately, the coming season has so many other cool trends ready for us, that we can do without the cycling pants confidently, right?

That's 2019 announced

We could not live without it last year? luckily we will not have to do that in 2019 either. Animalprints have come to stay. While Leo celebrated his big comeback in 2018, the look is now being replaced by python prints.

If this style is a bit too wild, you can run riot in the pastel section instead. Whether candy pink, baby blue, pale yellow or mint green? preferably in the form of Powersuits Candy Colors also come out big. We think: These are good prospects for the year.

Designer Lena Hoschek kicks off Berlin Fashion Week (April 2024).
