conditions of participation
Everyone can participate in the competition. The condition is that the images are submitted as a digital image file via the online form on ChroniquesDuVasteMonde.com. Anyone who participates may upload one photo per category. The winners will be selected by a jury and then presented on ChroniquesDuVasteMonde.com. Contributions violating the applicable law will be excluded from the competition.
The terms of participation in detail Who is allowed to participate? Everyone can participate. Prerequisite is that the images are submitted as a digital image file on ChroniquesDuVasteMonde.com.
What can be submitted? Unfortunately, photos sent by post or email can not be considered. The pictures may be up to 2 MB in size. The pictures may not have received any awards at other competitions. Participation is only possible through the online form, which must be completed in full. Before uploading the image, participants must confirm that they have read and accept the terms and conditions.
Marking the picture When registering and completing the online form, the participants must provide the following information: username, e-mail address, short description and picture name. The information is entered in the corresponding fields of the form. The participants agree to the use and storage of this data.
Deadline Images submitted after the submission deadline can no longer be considered. The deadline for entries is December 31, 2014.
Unlock the pictures The editors review all submitted images and reserve the right to disqualify any images. Contributions violating the applicable law will be excluded from the competition.
Who decides? In this competition a jury decides on the winners. Users can rate the images of the uploaded creative projects with one heart during the competition. Everyone can participate in this audience voting. You are only allowed to vote once per photo.
copyrights The participant assures that he or she has all the rights to the submitted picture, that has unrestricted exploitation rights of all parts of the picture, that the picture is free of third party rights and that no personality rights are violated in the representation of persons. If one or more people are identifiable in the photo, they must agree that the image will be published. The participant will insure the above in writing if requested. If third parties nevertheless assert claims for infringement of their rights, the participant indemnifies the organizers from all claims. Photos edited on the computer may not contain image parts from magazines, books, purchased CDs, and so on.
liability ChroniquesDuVasteMonde.com assumes no liability for the loss or possible damage to the images submitted.
Assignment of rights Each participant grants the organizer the non-exclusive, unlimited rights of use of the submitted pictures for use in the context of the competition and the reporting thereof (irrespective of which media, ie, in particular print).
data protection The data submitted by the submitter will be passed on to interested third parties, such as magazine editors, when the pictures are published as part of the photo competition. The participant hereby expressly agrees.
remedy The legal process is excluded.
