Build wooden bench yourself - a construction manual

Two chairs, a board and a little patience: you need this funny wooden bench.

Build a wooden bench - you need it:

• 2 old chairs
• 1 wooden board, approx. 150 cm long x 49 cm deep, 3 cm thick
• abrasive paper
• 12 screws, 0.5 x 9 cm
• wood glue
• wood filler
• Pre-varnish from the spray can
• Acrylic paint from the spray can
• Mordant

How to build the wooden bench:

Lightly sand a chair and chair legs of the other, treat with pre-varnish from the spray can, leave to dry and spray in the desired color with acrylic varnish. Stir the wooden board dark. Saw off chair legs and a backrest from the seats; If you like, you can do that before painting. Make sure that all chair legs have the same length. Pre-drill the wooden board to attach the chair legs and the backrest. Fix the chair legs and the backrest with the long screws and wood glue. Visible drill holes can be closed with wood cement and covered with stain.

Tip: If possible, choose chairs whose chair legs are stabilized under the seat by cross-connection.
