Bobby Brown: He denies Whitney Houston ever beaten

The marriage of Bobby Brown (49) and Whitney Houston (1963-2007, "The Bodyguard Soundtrack") was marked by violence and drug abuse towards the end. Again and again Brown is said to have become violent towards the singer. In 2016, he admitted in an interview with US broadcaster ABC that he beat her once. Now he denied these allegations again and described them as "completely wrong". This reports, among other things, the US portal "Entertainment Weekly".

"There were no violent incidents between me and Whitney," said the singer at a press conference. Brown wanted to promote the planned mini-series "The Bobby Brown Story" about his life. The Spicy: The press conference took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The very same hotel where his ex-wife Whitney Houston was found dead in the bathtub of her hotel room in 2012. She drowned just hours before the Grammy Awards.

He wants to tell his side of the story

"What people do not understand is that the stories about me are not true, we are now correcting everything the press has believed to know about me to this day, I am able to tell my side of the story, my truth That's why we made this movie, "Brown continued. The two-parter "The Bobby Brown Story" is scheduled for release in September this year.

Brown and Houston were married from 1992 to 2007. After the divorce, she was granted sole custody of joint daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown (1993 - 2015). She died only three years after her mother due to terribly similar circumstances.
