Best Of wallpapers: The most beautiful jewelry for your walls!

Wallpapers are getting heavy again! Whether pattern, clean, with ornaments or in retro design - wallpapers are a must for every wall. We have put together for you the BEST OF the most beautiful wallpaper. So take a look and let yourself be inspired. Your wall will thank you!

On the next page: Useful wallpapering tips!

1: preliminary work The wall must be prepared tip-top, even if it is expensive. Removes the old wallpaper as completely as possible. For wallpaper with a very smooth surface, the wall should be prepared with a scrape before wallpapering. A coating waste is a paper powder that is stirred into water and mixed with some paste (you can get it in any well-stocked hardware store). With that you have to paint the surfaces that you want to paper. Thanks to the coating waste, the wallpaper adheres better to the wall.

Watch out: The wall must be absolutely absorbent. To check the absorbency, moisten the wall with a little water. If the water bubbles off directly and does not move in, the wall is not ready for a new wallpaper! What to do? Get in the hardware store, a so-called "rolling waste" and apply! This ensures that the wall becomes absorbent again!

Generally, the heavier the wallpaper, the thicker the glue must be! So do not save, the paste very thoroughly stir in and swell until it is as good as transparent.

2: Cut wallpaper Of course it is important to know how much wallpaper you need at all. For this you measure all the walls of the room to be wallpapered, INCLUDING windows and doors.

Then use the following formula: Room perimeter (= length of all walls) x room height (= height of the wall, measured from floor to ceiling): 5 = need for wallpaper. An example: 18 meters (perimeter) x 2.50 meters (ceiling height): 5 = 9 square meters wallpaper needs. Per track always leave 10-15 centimeters of waste (for wallpapers with pattern, each track must be adjusted individually, the blend may therefore turn out bigger. Best, you informed in the wallpaper retailers exactly about the blend).

3: glue Once you have measured the wall, you cut several wallpaper strips, which you then einkleistert successively. After you have pasted a train, roll it from both ends to the middle. Attention: Do not kink the fold! Rolled up so the wallpaper must then soft (the soft time is in the leaflet). Apply the same principle to the remaining cut sheets. Then it's time to glue. In the same order as you have pasted the tracks, they also come to the wall. The first should be attached to the edge of the ceiling with some overhang, which you then cut away. Now you smooth the attached train with a wallpaper brush or rubber roller from the center to the outside smooth and firm. Press firmly on the edges of the wallpaper. If the first lane is on the wall, you attach the second "edge to edge" - so do not overlap but stick right next to it, following the same principle as the first lane. Should Kleisterflecke emerge, it's best to remove the same, otherwise it's too late afterwards.

4: Wallpaper soaking time Even if we think that we know better: leaflets are our friends! Therefore: open, read and comply with specified soft time AND keep the doors and windows closed, so that your wallpaper does not inflate and form the drafts no ugly dents.

5: dry Your wallpaper should never dry too fast, otherwise the seams may burst. Our tip: Prevents heat and drafts.

6: feat If you really have two left hands, let a master run!
