Amal Alamuddin marries in pantsuit
We'll admit it right away - we fell in love with Amal Alamuddin. That she's damn cool, we already guessed, but so cool? We would not have expected a stuffy civil registry costume with the lawyer anyway, but the cream-colored combination of a simple top and Marlene pants plus a sophisticated Fedora hat cut us off the fashion stool. So casual! So elegant!
At 1.25 pm on Monday, the couple sailed in a water taxi to the Palazzo on the Grand Canal. George wore a gray Armani suit plus obligatory sunglasses and literally faded into Amal's Stella McCartney trouser suit. Refreshingly unrestrained, the two waved to the waiting fans, went to the registry office - and left this 20 minutes later as an official and happy-looking couple. We congratulate and look forward to many more (fashion) moments with Mrs. Alamuddin-Clooney!
