Willow Smith unpacks, "Growing up like that is unbearable!"

Obviously you do not get used to the constant spotlight if you are the child of Hollywood stars. Having famous parents means more than a bulging bank account and a closet full of designer parts. That, at least, betrays Willow Smith, the daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. In an interview with 'Girl Gaze', the 17-year-old talks about the downsides of being a celebrity.

I will be completely honest, it is absolutely terrible.

Every step she takes, every word she says is meticulously eyed by the media, Willow says. A normal childhood is hardly possible:

Growing up while everyone around you chooses to govern your life is unbearable. The only way to deal with this is to come to terms with it. You can not change your face. You can not choose your parents.

Instead, celebrity children like them are often misunderstood: "Most kids like me fall into depression, and the world watches them, joking about how hard that lifestyle is for the psyche."

Willow Smith wants to retire

As early as 2012, the young singer made a mark as she shaved off her hair during her 'Whip My Hair' tour. She had enough of having to style herself for the public all the time.

To find herself again, the 17-year-old now wants to withdraw from the public. But what does that mean for their music? her album 'The 1st' came out only a few weeks ago? leaves Willow open.
