Wearing maxi dresses in winter? Of course that is possible

1. Overknees, Rolli & Leather Jacket

You only have very airy maxi dresses in the closet? No problem! Simply combine a thin turtleneck sweater underneath - this ensures a warm upper body. To prevent the legs from getting too cold, slip into Overknees. They protect the lower body from the next draft. The look is rounded off by a jacket in smooth or suede leather. 2. Layering

Another nice look with a maxi dress was taken from blogger Amber Fillerup. It combines a floor-length dress with an XL kimono and a bright red jacket. The individual layers conjure a perfect onion look that keeps you wonderfully warm. If you want, you can add an opaque tights and ankle boots to the outfit. This makes it even warmer. At milder temperatures, you can grab sneakers, as in the photo.

3. Teddymantel and rough boots

You want an outfit that is really suitable for winter? Then we recommend the combination of long-sleeved maxi dress, thick teddymantel and rugged biker boots. In it you can also hide wonderfully thick socks. Again, if you like it even warmer, grab the opaque tights or overknee boots.

4. cashmere sweater & wool coat

Under your maxi dress fits no thin sweater more? Then it makes like this style: cashmere sweater pull over the dress. So the dress visually becomes the maxi skirt. Another long wool coat over it, boots on it - done!

5. Ankle boots & hat

Ankle boots are back in fashion this winter. In combination with the floor-length dress they look classy and can be worn on sunny winter days. As a supplement we recommend a thick wool coat.
