Transformers: So much action is the new trailer for "Bumblebee"
The last "Transformers" movie did not appear until 2017, but by the end of this year, the sixth installment of the Autobots saga will hit theaters. This time, however, it is a prequel: "Bumblebee" is not only eponym of the new action strip, but also the main character, as the new German trailer proves.
The film, which was not filmed exceptionally by director Michael Bay (53), takes place in 1987 and is about the 18-year-old student Charlie, played by Hailee Steinfeld (21, "Pitch Perfect 3"), who is searching after a car to screw is and snatched an old VW Beetle. He turns out to be a short time later than the Autobot Bumblebee and kidnaps her into a breakneck adventure in which of course once again the world has to be saved from the Decepticons.
As a new general, wrestling legend John Cena (41, "The Sex Pact") will appear in the film series for the first time and be in the mix. The director was Travis Knight (45), but was supported by "Tranformers" professional Michael Bay as a producer.
"Bumblebee" comes to the German cinemas on December 20th.
