1. Intensify the scent? spray in warm places
The fragrance of the perfume is intensified when it is sprayed on particularly warm body parts. Particularly suitable are these places: behind the ear, on the wrists, the neck and the décolleté.
Basically, on oily skin perfumes smell more intense than on dry skin. So if you have oily skin, you should use more sparingly. On dry skin, the fragrance evaporates faster, as it may quietly be a spray more.
2. For long-term use - spray in cool places
Although the above hot spots intensify the fragrance, but especially the cold spots of the body are known for long durability. Here are especially the earlobes and - oh yes - the knees on.
3. Hair as a store
Hair is a very good fragrance carrier because its surface is relatively large and they release the fragrance only gradually. However, perfume contains a high percentage of alcohol, which in turn can be harmful to the hair structure. Better to use a hair perfume. They contain not only less alcohol, but also nourishing ingredients such as argan or camellia oil (for example from Chanel, Dior, La Biosthetique and Shu Uemura).
4. Do not rub, just dab!
Who applies his perfume on the forearms, tends to rub his wrists together. However, rubbing destroys the fragrance molecules and reduces the intensity of the fragrance.
5. The right timing
The perfume should be applied directly after showering. This allows the scent to be better stored by the residual moisture.
6. Preparation is everything
For durability, XL can be rubbed with a thin layer of fatty cream (such as vaseline) or body lotion on top of the above, before spraying the perfume.
7. The dose does it
Many manufacturers offer further products of a scent series. With the matching shower gel and the body lotion, the fragrance of the perfume can be supported. If you want to use other products, you should make sure that you do not use competing fragrances. Fragrance-free care products are best suited.
8. A question of quality
The more concentrated the fragrance is, the more intense the fragrance. How long and intense a scent smells, is mainly due to its concentration. A cologne evaporates very quickly, a toilet water lasts a maximum of three hours, an eau de parfum two to five hours and perfume even longer.
9. From bottom to top
When spraying, the fragrances fly upwards. Therefore, it is advisable to spray a scent from the bottom up.
10. The right storage
Perfume as a decoration on the shelf looks nice, but does not do the fragrance well. One should not expose the scent to direct sunlight. He should be stored relatively cool. It makes sense to keep the bottle in the outer packaging. Temperature fluctuations should also be avoided, because then the scent may even tip over.
