Study shows: This trick reduces the risk of obesity

We often assume that sugar or saturated fats are the cause of our overweight - and simply remove the biggest sugar and fat bombs from our diet. To do this, we kick the calories in the gym. In fact, we would only have to change a little habit to minimize our risk of overweight or obesity. That's what researchers at the University of Navarra claim in a recent study.

Study shows: This trick helps against overweight

As the experts have found, the main culprit for being overweight is the classic one Feierabendbier, Means: Who leaves the beloved beer in the evening and instead reaches for water, has a 20 percent lower risk of developing obesity. Incidentally, sugar-containing drinks such as cola or lemonade have a similar effect - omitting them minimizes overweight risk by a whopping 15 percent. However, wine had no effect on the risk of obesity.

Specifically: better leave the after-work beer and replace it with a low-calorie beverage alternative such as tea or water. Or the alcohol-free variant. Because alcohol has a lot of calories and is calorically directly behind fat. If alcohol is still consumed as beer, the calories are doubled, as it also contains large amounts of maltose (maltose). And who has not yet convinced that is warned: Beer increases the appetite for greasy food, as it flours salts out of the body, which of course must be "fed" again.
