Seriously !? Ivanka Trump gives these absurd career tips to working mothers

How hard can Ivanka Trump already be? At least, many seem to believe that, the daughter of the current US President Donald Trump take a closer look. She is beautiful, a successful businesswoman and now also a consultant in the White House. In addition, she is married to the billionaire Jared Kushner and has three charming children with him. Running!

Incidentally, the 35-year-old also finds this out and has now published her book 'Women Who Work' in the US. In it, she gives women advice on how to combine career, child and marriage and, according to the New York Times, makes it very clear: a healthy work-life balance is nothing but utopia.

Instead, the First Daughter relies on the following? absurd? Advices:

  • Regularly schedule enough time for your children! She shovels herself free every day for 20 minutes per child.
  • Also the love life is important! Every two weeks, the 35-year-old plans a "Date Night" with her Jared.
  • A high on the home office! If she has to travel longer for work, she tries to work from home for a few days.
  • Tasks must be prioritized! For example, according to Trump, shopping for food is neither "necessary" nor "urgent".
  • Work hard! She herself was always the last person to leave the office, and in stressful times, such as her father's election campaign, she "took no massage" and spent less time on her appearance.
  • Stop complaining about too little free time! Ivanka Trump has calculated that a mom who works full-time and sleeps an average of eight hours a day still has 72 hours of free time per week. "That's a lot of time!"

The fact that she herself can always rely on a staff on Nanny's and domestic help, is allegedly mentioned only rarely. Ensuring a full refrigerator is indeed the least of the problems in the lives of privileged multi-millionaires.

This advice is really useful!

But not everything that Ivanka Trump writes is as absurd as the 20-minute rule for her children. 'The World' has filtered out some tips from the 35-year-olds who, while not reinventing the wheel and who have already read up and down in a number of guidebooks, are definitely more likely to take their time to heart.

  • Listen! We allegedly unlearned that: "We always want to get rid of our ideas right away, and we have two ears and only one mouth."
  • Collegial behavior is a must! That does not mean that one should bend, according to Ivanka apologizes the sentence "I'm just like that!" but not all.
  • Write lists to motivate yourself! You always focus quickly on what is not going on right now. The 35-year-old writes therefore daily, what has happened to her good? as a memory, so to speak.
  • Write a mission statement! It says what you want to have achieved at the end of your life. This is then read from time to time and checked what you have already done.
  • Stay alert and network! Because: "Professional opportunities are the most unexpected opportunities."

+++ Attention, irony! +++ So, dear Mamis, now you have it in black and white? To reconcile career, child and man is the easiest thing in the world. If need be, just do not shop and be twenty minutes mom per day should be enough.
