RTL presenter Sandra Kuhn was very worried about her baby
Suddenly there was a black spot on her baby's brain. Any mother or father who ever had to fear for the health of his baby will understand how bad the shock to the otherwise radiant-happy RTL presenter Sandra Kuhn (36) was when the doctors suddenly found this spot on ultrasound discovered in the brain of her daughter Leni.
The doctors suspected an "enlarged ventricle"? in the worst case probably a sign of a serious disability of the child.
That tore the ground from under my feet. After the doctor's visit, I stood for hours in the garden in front of a wall and cried.
Sandra Kuhn now describes the difficult hours after the ultrasound in a heartbreaking post on Instagram. In the photo to the post her baby belly can be seen, in front of her and the dad with their hands form a heart. With the ominous black spot began an incredibly terrible time of her pregnancy.

Today I want to tell you about the worst phase of my pregnancy to encourage other expectant mothers. During a routine check-up in the 29th week of pregnancy, Leni noticed brain abnormality. An extended ventricle. That can mean EVERYTHING but also NOTHING. In the worst case, it indicates a severe disability. That tore the ground from under my feet. After the doctor's visit, I stood for hours in the garden in front of a wall and cried. I could not move anymore. I always had the feeling that our baby is healthy. Could I be so wrong? I had to become a specialist. But the appointment was only in a week. It was the worst week of my life. Full of fear for our little mouse. By the way, I had to work, of course. And I was not allowed to show my worries live at 6 pm. The date for the special ultrasound was on a Friday at 15 o'clock. But I also had to be back at the Explosive Studio at 6 pm that evening. How could I do that if this diagnosis was confirmed now? Anyway, I had to be in a good mood in the evening. Only at 15:45 clock we came to it. Everything was scrutinized. At the end then the decisive sentence: Mr. and Mrs. Kuhn, your baby is healthy !!! A huge stone fell from our hearts. It was probably a misrepresentation that led to the assumption that something might not be ok. We were overjoyed! My husband drove me quickly from Dusseldorf to Cologne. Of course, we ended up on Friday afternoons in a traffic jam. It was not until 5 pm when we arrived at RTL, I put on my mask, read about the anmoderations and was punctually at the studio ready at 6 pm. My good mood was more than real when I gave the audience a "good evening" tonight? wish. ??

One week Sandra and her husband Kristof Kuhn, who also works for RTL, had to wait for a thorough investigation. Sandra remembers:
It was the worst week of my life. Full of fear for my little mouse.
By the way, Sandra had to work and stand happily in front of the camera pretending that everything was alright. What a burden for a future mom with such concern for her baby!
But then, fortunately, the all-wishing awaited the all-clear! When special ultrasound turned out: the black spot in the ultrasound was probably a misrepresentation.

Sandra Kuhn and her husband will probably never forget this sentence from the doctors in their lives. In August, her daughter Leni was born alive and well and the little family has been wholeheartedly enjoying their happiness.
