Rammstein: That's why their stadium tour will be so extraordinary

On Thursday, November 8th at 10:00 am, all Rammstein fans will be sitting in front of the computer and try to get Ticket Maker Eventim one of the much sought-after tickets for the 2019 Stadium Tour. One thing is already clear: many will go out empty-handed. Because the run on the tickets will be huge.

Not for nothing, the band temporarily stopped recording in the illustrious Rammstein fan club "LIFAD" on Monday, as the community has an exclusive right of first refusal. Too many wanted to enjoy the privilege of getting tickets three days in advance as a member. On Thursday, however, the remaining millions of Rammstein fans across Europe will be fighting for the popular maps online.

Eventim has already announced that it expects a huge onslaught and recommended to its customers some measures on how to create an account early. But what makes the new tour of the band around frontman Till Lindemann (55) so special that it causes such a hype? Does Rammstein ("Reise, Reise") not record regularly the big festivals and the biggest halls of the nation? Hysteria or justified anticipation?

First album for about ten years

Partly: The most recent European Tour Rammstein completed in 2013, but without new songs in the luggage. In addition, German fans only got the opportunity to marvel at their idols at two concerts in Wolfsburg. In 2016 and 2017, several major festivals followed, including Rock im Park as well as the Southside Festival plus a total of three concerts in their living room, the legendary Berliner Waldbühne.

But a regular and extensive tour was missing. Now everything is different. On the one hand, Rammstein will play a tour for a new album (announced for 2019) for the first time in about ten years, and finally make new hits live. On the other hand, Rammstein's long-standing success story is the first to feature the largest stadiums in the republic. An open-air feeling of a very special kind, in which fans of the band have not yet come.

In Germany, Rammstein ventures on Schalke in the Veltins Arena, in the huge Olympic Stadiums in Munich and Berlin, the Rudolf Harbig Stadium in Dresden, the Rostock Ostseestadion, in the HDI Arena in Hanover and in the Frankfurt Commerzbank Arena. All originally large sports and football stadiums that can accommodate between 30,000 and 75,000 people.

Alternative for those who go out empty-handed

In addition, Rammstein is also involved in 16 other countries, including exotics such as Latvia and Finland. A highlight are certainly the two appearances in Russia. For all local fans who may not be able to get a ticket for the German concerts, nearby or easily accessible cities abroad may be an alternative.

For example, Rammstein also rendezvouss in Bern, Prague, Paris, Barcelona, Moscow, Copenhagen, Vienna, Oslo, Brussels, Rotterdam and Stockholm. Rammstein is always worth a visit for a live concert with all the bombast shown and the unsteady pyrotechnics ...
