Let's Dance: Premiere! Singer Kerstin Ott dances with a woman
When Let's Dance launches a new season on March 15, there will be a very special premiere: Singer Kerstin Ott (37) is the first amateur dancer in the history of the show to sweep across the floor with a professional dancer. So far, there was only the "classic" couple dance constellation, so a male celebrity with a professional dancer or vice versa.
The "The Always Laughs" singer would even find it funny to perform with a man at the dance show, as RTL explains.
For me, it would be strange to dance with a man. It is nice to show that there is more than this classical dance.
In the couple dances she will take over the role of the man. Thus, the popular format also proposes new sounds. For many, the singer is considered a role model because of her open dealing with her homosexuality. Since 2017, she has been living in a registered civil partnership with her longtime partner Karolina.
