"We got to know each other in 2010. Actually, we just met to walk with our dogs on a beautiful river, but we did not have any other intentions, we both had some difficult relationships and were not really in the mood, one But as life is: we were more than sympathetic, and suddenly we lay in a meadow, and as there was hardly a day when one was not with the other, we moved in after three months ,
After several relocations, we moved to a pretty house in the fall of 2012, which is ideal for our future plans. In April 2013 we got married.
From the beginning it was clear that we want children. In Switzerland, homosexual couples are not allowed to adopt children or get pregnant with sperm donations with medical help. That's why in 2013 we tried to get pregnant with a home-based medicine using the Becher method. Here you introduce the sperm itself with a syringe into the vagina. Both me and my wife would like to have one child each, but since Sweety is a bit older than me, we decided that she should have our first child.
Our way was quite rocky. First, we wanted to go to a clinic in Munich to get donor sperm. But then acquaintance agreed to donate his seeds. Unfortunately, he jumped after only one attempt (the failed) again. Then we continued with a private, very sympathetic donor that we found on the internet. He is not registered as a father and has no father role. However, the children can meet him in their teens if they wish.
After a long wait for the right timing and three insemination attempts (one of them secretly in the forest in our car - that was crazy!) We held on November 14, 2013 a positive pregnancy test in the hands. We could hardly believe our luck. Throughout the day I could hardly concentrate on my work. I only had my pregnant wife and our worm in our heads. I grinned so much that people asked me if I was okay. At the end of the day I had aching cheeks.
Paternity leave has already been applied for.
The baby is expected to be born around the 24th of July 2014. I have already applied for 'paternity leave'. Luckily my employers allowed me to take a week off as soon as my wife got our baby.
In 2014 we started with the attempts for our second child - this time with me. The first attempt was immediate, so now our second baby is on the way. The little one will see the world around October 6, 2014.
My parents were overjoyed with the news, but they also think we are crazy. 'You have never had children, and now you have two at a time ?! And if you get twins now ?! ' Okay, they raised three kids themselves and need to know. We, too, realize that it will be a challenge. But we are very happy and can not wait to hold our sweetheart in our arms. "
