17 young fashion designers of the Academy Fashion and Design (AMD) presented their final collections at the "Heizwerk" in Hamburg and at the same time their visions of the upcoming autumn / winter season.
This is not really colorful: black, gray, nude, beige, maybe even a little brown ... Never mind, honestly not. And may also be due to the global economic crisis. The up-and-coming designers make up for the lack of experimentation in terms of color (which the Hamburg branch of the AMD is often said) by creativity, cutting skills and attention to detail.
Many of the collections dealt with the interaction and interplay of diverse opposites. Such as past and future or inside and outside. The young designers try to help people, as wearers of their fashion, to achieve an identity that stands out from their environment as well as lives in balance with it. That, too, may be related to the global economic crisis.
