Pippa Middleton: She raves about baby swimming

On October 15, 2018, Pippa Middleton (35) gave birth to her first son. Now, more than six months after giving birth, she breaks her silence for the first time and speaks publicly about her new role as a mother. In her regular cooking column in the British supermarket magazine "Waitrose Kitchen" she said that her little son Arthur already loves the water and especially the swimming in it.

He had already begun with four months and received "trust and enjoyment" in the water. "He is now six months old and swimming is one of his favorite activities," Duchess Kate's younger sister (37) continues. The training also has great side effects: Arthur would thus have a healthy afternoon nap and the movement would also stimulate his digestion.

The newly-minted mother is a passionate swimmer herself and reiterates this: "Water sports are a great form of training that you can do together with your baby." In August 2018, about two months before she was given birth, Middleton wrote in her column that she also went into the water almost every day during pregnancy: "It does you so well, as long as you do not over-exert yourself."

Pippa Middleton has been married since May 2017 to British hedge fund manager and heir to the Scottish title Laird of Glen Affric, James Matthews, 43. Since then she is officially Philippa Matthews. Arthur Matthews is their first child together.
