Officially: This popular fashion chain is broke
A shock for all fans of the Swiss fashion chain Charles Vögele: The label is officially on the decline. For some time the company was in the headlines, wrote for years only red numbers. Now the last German stores are due to close at the end of March.
Numerous stores have already been spun off and sold to other chains, such as Tedi or Kik. The remaining stores, which are still closed, are to be rebuilt extensively and then under the name Miller & Monroe reopened.
Meanwhile, Charles Vögele had almost 280 shops in Germany. Even the online shop is affected and has now been discontinued. Who calls the homepage, is forwarded to a company page.
