Natascha Ochsenknecht: Why the jungle camp has paid off for her
For Natascha Ochsenknecht (54), participating in the Jungle Camp 2018 was not only rewarding professionally but also personally. "I think many have realized that I am not this hard-hitting woman, but a person with a heart," she reveals in an interview with the news agency spot on news. This year, she is especially keeping her fingers crossed for a candidate.
One year has passed since your jungle adventure, what has happened to you since then?
Natascha Ochsenknecht: A lot has happened to me, my children's book has been published and I have finished the second one. It will appear at the end of January. I play a starring role in the RTL2 series "Ibiza Diaries", designing two fashion collections, including a great twin heart knitwear collection - it was an exciting year.
Then did the jungle occupy you rather than harm you?
Ochsenknecht: Yes, definitely used. I think many have realized that I am not this hard-hitting woman, but a person with a heart, who also takes care of others. I got advertising contracts, social media cooperations.
Do you still have contact with your former camp colleagues?
Ochsenknecht: Yes, of course. New Year's Eve, I celebrated with David Friedrich, Tina and Ansgar have become good friends, Kattia has come specially to my Halloween party. With Sidney, I'll soon go to the studio to record music together ... Such a time welds together.
Will you watch the new season on TV?
Ochsenknecht: Definitely. I've always been a fan and will see every episode. I am also a guest at the show "The Hour After" and I have a small video column. Be curious.
How do you find the new candidates?
Ochsenknecht: You can not say that much, you know them, but in the jungle the world looks very different. Some show their true face only in extreme situations.
Who are you most looking forward to?
Ochsenknecht: All who are entertaining. I know Doreen Dietel from old Munich times and Evelyn from the headlines when it came to my ex.
Who will provide the most talked about topic?
Ochsenknecht: Evelyn and Domenico.
With Evelyn Burdecki and Domenico de Cicco, a former couple moves into the jungle for the first time. Can that work out?
Ochsenknecht: It will definitely be exciting when they meet again. There are certainly things that have to be clarified.
Who will end up as Jungle King or Jungle Queen?
Ochsenknecht: It would make me happy for Doreen.
What tip can you give the candidate?
Ochsenknecht: Despite the extreme situations, they should enjoy the time. These are incredible experiences that you make there. I thought it was great and would like to be there again.
