Advent calendar from milk cartons - how it works:

1. Lie down milk carton. Use the cutter to cut small windows into the top half so that you will not see the LED lights later. Cut out the bottoms of the bags.

2. Spray milk cartons all over white, preferably outside on newspaper.

3. Sprinkle pieces of wood on top and sides also white, allow to dry.

4. Stick a tree and a candle spout onto each piece of wood with the hot glue gun.

5. Stamp numbers 1 to 24 on white paper, cut out rectangular.

6. Just stick figures with glue on the houses, odd with hot glue gun on the fir-tree tops.

7. Put candles in holder. Ignite a candle or LED light more every Advent day.
