Jeff Bridges: Teaser gives hope for "The Big Lebowski 2"

"The Big Lebowski" was a veritable surprise hit in 1998. Jeff Bridges (69) convinced in his role as a drunken, drinking "Dude", who depends on his buddy in the bowling alley. A second part has been speculated for some time. Now the wish could actually come true.

No less a person than Jeff Bridges himself is fueling the rumors about a sequel to the comedy movie now. On Twitter, the actor posted a mini-teaser in which he runs in his well-known cardigan over broken dishes, which apparently has broken after a wild party night. After only his feet are visible, he finally smiles over his sunglasses into the camera and disappears.

Especially promising is the comment on the trailer. Bridges writes, "You can not live in the past, dude! Stay tuned!". Further news about a possible return is expected on the added date (3 February 2019). On this day, the Super Bowl takes place, with the New England Patriots against the Los Angeles Rams on the court.

Will there be the official announcement of a second part of "The Big Lebowski" or even a trailer during the legendary halftime break? Or is this possibly just a marketing-strong advertising strategy of a product? Soon we know it. Until then - stay cool.
