BYM.de: Why are you participating in "Germany's Next Top Model - by Heidi Klum"?

Milla: I see that as a great experience. You really learn a lot, many things in a short time that some models have to collect for years. It's my dream to model. Since I am 11 years, I deal with the thought. I love fashion and for me it is a kind of art to present it.

BYM.de: Do you already have model experience?

Milla: Yes, a little, but not in a professional sense. I'm from Göttingen and I did a little modeling for a designer. Some small fashion shows, but no professional photo shoots or something.

BYM.de: How did you come to promote yourself?

Milla: During the first season, I just graduated from high school and it itched my fingers and I thought that was really something for me. Then before the second season I was still skeptical and thought, do you really want that, that's public. My two best friends and my boyfriend then tripped me up and said, "Do it now, it could really be a very, very big opportunity" - and then I applied.

BYM.de: What were the reactions of friends and family?

Milla: My family and friends are completely behind me. My mother has doubts about such things at first. As parents are: pretty restrained. But they were really happy when they said I was in the top 100 and licked some blood now. My friends are completely behind it, find it mega-class and they were also sure from the outset that I can go far - and still are.

BYM.de: How was that when you were invited and saw the other girls?

Milla: When I saw the other 100 girls at the first casting in Cologne, I already thought, whew, there are already a few cuts here. Really nice big, long, thin and all a pretty face. Since I've already thought, let's see if that's what.

"Breakdowns? Oh yes!"

BYM.de: How was that when you found out that you came in the top 15?

Milla: I did not realize it that fast. Heidi Klum called each one of us and gave the Top 15 a picture. I was already second, stood there and was totally perplexed. I could not realize that at all, because I'm rather modest in such things and do not even expect it.

BYM.de: Have you ever had a breakdown during that?

Milla: Oh yes! We had a live walk before the decision, so I trampled on my rock. Everyone saw it, but it was not that dramatic. Probably a lot more mishaps happened to me, but I did not notice.

BYM.de: You're in a kind of model camp. What do you miss most during that?

Milla: We live in a great house. Nevertheless, I miss, just to take a break from my soul, to watch a movie with my friend by my side, all those little private things that you do only with your closest friends or family. I also miss my cat, to hug him and cuddle him. But on the whole, I like it very, very well.

BYM.de: What does your everyday life look like?

Milla: We always find out the evening before when it starts the next day. Then we have to make ourselves a bit, it goes somewhere and we are surprised. We never know in advance what it is about and always have to jump into the cold water again.

BYM.de: What is the relationship and mood among the girls?

Milla: I get along great with all the girls, funny enough, because I did not expect that before. I have a handful of girls that I like and the atmosphere in the house is really good. Except for cleaning - we always argue a bit, because no one feels obligated. But otherwise everything is completely relaxed.

BYM.de: What do you find difficult when it comes to modeling?

Milla: I find it difficult to convey certain expressions. I have a strong facial expression, but I do not get it baked in part, sometimes sexy, then friendly again, then angry. I have to practice, practice, practice.

"I would never take nude photos"

BYM.de: Is there anything you would never do in terms of modeling?

Milla: I would never take nude photos. That has nothing to do with modeling for me, but with representation.Obviously the female charms are an issue when modeling, but I would not put myself completely naked in front of the camera.

BYM.de: In the show you are sometimes criticized by the jury members very hard. How do you deal with it?

Milla: Sure, you have to swallow and think, thanks for the flowers. But on the whole, I get along with criticism very well. I always go to the girls and ask again for their opinions. Of course, if they confirm that, then I'm very clear about it and so far the criticism I've received was really justified. Then I am also completely neutral and try to make the best of it or to change it.

BYM.de: What do you like most about you?

Milla: I like myself as a whole package. Of course, there are small places that I do not like so much, but overall I'm satisfied. I think it's nice that I'm half-Asian, half-Chinese, that makes me unique here.

BYM.de: What do not you like about you?

Milla: Little things, my butt might be a little more plump. But these are subjective things that only me see and therefore they are not really serious.

BYM.de: Why should you become "Germany's Next Top Model"?

Milla: Because it's my dream and I want it from my heart. Of course I hope that I fulfill all the criteria.

BYM.de: What do you do when you do not?

Milla: Of course I'll be sad, but I've come a long way, I'm happy with it. I will try to work with what I have learned here and achieve my own success.

BYM.de: What's your dream?

Milla: My dream is that I can gain a foothold in model business, that I can realize my idea of ​​my life, and that everything stays in the limelight for me, my family and my circle of friends.
