iPhone and Co .: These Apple products, tech fans 2019 can be happy
What will the coming months bring? As always, Apple wraps silence when it comes to upcoming products. However, there are indications as to which devices could appear in 2019.
A foldable iPhone?
The fact that the company will introduce a new iPhone again in 2019 is virtually certain. As usual, Apple will presumably present several fresh models in the autumn. And there is already a hot rumor, what the upcoming iPhone could offer. After especially Samsung last with its foldable smartphone Galaxy Fold caused a surprise, Apple could soon follow suit.
According to the Taiwanese newspaper "Digitimes", the company is currently experimenting with foldable screens. Ironically, manufacturer Samsung has sent samples of flexible displays to both Apple and Google, it goes on. But it should be about other displays than the Galaxy Fold. This should have a 7.3-inch screen, the samples are 7.2-inch screens.
AirPods 2
Already in January, the "Digitimes" had reported that in the first half of 2019 new AirPods are expected. According to the completely wireless in-ear headphones from Apple get a new design. It is also assumed that the fresh model should have health features on board. This could mean, among other things, an acceleration sensor, similar to what it is installed in the Apple Watch.
AirPower
Already in September 2017, Apple introduced under the name AirPower a charging mat, with the iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods can be charged simultaneously wirelessly. Actually, this should appear in 2018, but nothing came of it. In 2019 it could finally be time. According to rumors, the company could show an updated version of the mat at an event on March 25.
Own streaming service
Even more likely, however, that at this event an in-house streaming service from Apple could be revealed. For quite some time, the rumors hold that an appropriate offer is being worked on. Apple has invited several celebrities to an event on March 25 where the new service will be unveiled, "Bloomberg" reported in mid-February. Among them are Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, who play for Apple in an untitled series, which revolves around the breakfast television; Jennifer Garner and the director J.J. Abrams doing the mini-series "My Glory Was I Had Such Friends".
New iPads
Even when it comes to the emergence of new iPads, many experts are sure that Apple will present fresh models in 2019. For example, it would be time for a renewal, especially with the iPad Mini. The current iPad Mini 4 was finally presented and published in autumn 2015. As the "Digitimes" report once again, anonymous industry sources have revealed that Apple's suppliers are currently preparing for mass production of new AirPods and iPads.
