Instructions: iron transfer ribbon

You need this:

  • Template bird
  • Template tree
  • Avery textile film for light textiles (eg craft supplies)
  • inkjet
  • white pillowcases
  • Iron

That's how it's done:

Print the template on the textile foil. To do so mirror the design in the printer settings with the option "Mirror". For safety, make a test print on plain paper: image and text must be reversed. Print motif on the slide. Cut out the motif, leaving a narrow border around the image. Round off corners so that the image does not peel off when ironing or washing.

Do not fill the iron with water and set it to "No steam" option. Preheat for a few minutes to the highest cotton temperature. Iron the pillowcase several times to remove any moisture from the material. Place the transfer paper with the printed side on the pillowcase. Fully iron over with pressure and circular motions.

Allow the pillowcase to cool for a few minutes. Then carefully peel off the cover and remove completely. If the image of the pillow cover also peel off, pressure and heat were not sufficient. Then iron the motif over again, paying particular attention to the corners and edges. Chair, cushion, flower: private
