Hashtag rosa - expressing solidarity in the social network
Every year, thousands of women contract breast cancer - the so-called breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor in women. It can not be glossed over: it is a terrible disease.
And almost everyone knows a woman who is or has had breast cancer. Relatives, friends and colleagues often can not do much - except offer their support, strength and love.
The action #rosa
With the social media action #pink we would like to call for expressions of solidarity. We want to show those affected: You are not alone! We are there for you, support you and stand it together with you.
The October is used among other things by the German breast cancer help, in order to inform about the problem of the breast cancer illness. The color is chosen on the basis of the pink ribbon, the international symbol for breast cancer.
That's how it's done: You write #pink on Facebook, Twitter or g + in your status. We will also participate with our pages on Facebook, Twitter and Google+.
What is a hashtag? Hashtag denotes the # character on your keyboard, which looks like a garden fence. In social networks, this symbol is prefixed with a word or phrase to tag it. Thus, publicly visible comments on a topic are easier to find later.
