Hair off for a good cause
Have you been thinking for a while about getting your hair cut? Then you have the opportunity this Saturday in Berlin - and at the same time be part of a great charity campaign!
The name says it all: During the hair donation day you get a free haircut including styling, if you separate yourself from at least 20 centimeters of hair and donate. These hairs are then processed into wigs and hairpieces by German-based manufactories, which are provided free of charge to people suffering from illness or hereditary hair loss. "It is important to us to inform about the topic of hair loss, to enlighten and to make it more sociable," said Andrea Mayr, initiator of hair donation day in Berlin.
If you are in the mood for a new hairstyle and would like to donate your hair, you can do so on Saturday, July 4, from 10 am to 6 pm at mask berlin. A professional team for hair styling and make-up awaits you. Please register in advance.
