Four-year-old boy has lovesickness

At some point, all children have their first lovesickness, but who would have thought that the heartbreak already infects infants like this? Actually, the mother from the Youtube video with her son Milo just wanted to talk a bit about his friends. But then the topic came to Emily, apparently his best friend. And now she likes another boy, even telephoned him. "Oh," Milo says. When the mother asks how he feels, he says, "Sad." And then starts to cry aloud. Now Emily does not like him anymore, and he does not like that. And besides, she does not call him anymore. Mother tries to reassure him, of course Emily still likes him and he also has many other friends, Sophie, for example. Besides, he could call Emily himself. But it does not help anything. Milo is devastated. "I want her to like me even better." And he did not even know how to call her. Only when the mother promises that they call together soon after with Emily, he can calm down.

The sandbox love really exists

In fact, Milo's reaction is not that unusual. Even toddlers, according to developmental psychologists can develop great feelings to other children. Usually they are also interested in the opposite sex from three or four years old and play situations that they know from adults, after - marrying, having a family, giving kisses. If two children have found each other, they often hang on to each other, whispering and often wishing to be separated from the group. Sexuality does not matter yet, yet the feelings can be strong and the little ones sometimes overwhelm - as with Milo.
