Federal election 2013: So the women chose

The Final result of the Bundestag election is a triumph for Chancellor Angela Merkel: 41.5 percent of Germans chose CDU and CSU. 25.7 percent voted for the SPD, 8.6 for the left and 8.4 for the Greens. With only 4.8 percent of the vote flew the FDP not only from the government, but also from the parliament. Also at the 5-percent hurdle failed the alternative for Germany (AFD) with 4.7 percent and the pirates with 2.2 percent.

How would the Bundestag election have gone out if only women had voted? What are the differences between East and West Germany? This is shown by these numbers - and you can see quickly: Most women are Merkel fans. No matter where you live.
