High season on Usedom. Sophie Thiel (Emma Bading) has accepted a summer job and is a waitress in a café. She befriends her colleague Jadwiga Gryn (Olga Kalicka). Together they make their way home with their bikes after work. Shortly after the girls split up, Yadwiga is attacked, stunned and kidnapped. Julia Thiel (Lisa Maria Potthoff) has survived her serious accident and has regained her strength in rehab. On her own responsibility, she dismisses herself from the clinic and drives home. There, Karin Lossow (Katrin Sass) has since taken care of Julia's husband Stefan (Peter Schneider) and granddaughter Sophie.

Maid Yasemin Akhtar (Naima Fehrenbacher) crashes in the staircase of a luxury hotel to death. Third-party debt or not, ask Lena Odenthal (Ulrike Folkerts) and Mario Kopper (Andreas Hoppe) in their investigation. But also: Is her death in connection with the fact that the politician Joseph Sattler (Peter Sattmann) had sex with Yasemin in suite 426 shortly before? Sattler's involvement in the case is astonishingly publicized and harms not only his personal reputation, but also his current political project. In Lena Odenthal's eyes it all fits together a bit too well.

In a raid on a truck computer chips in the amount of seven million euros are looted. Commissioners Hinrichs (Uwe Steimle) and Törner (Henry Hübchen) are confident that they will be able to clear up the case quickly because the driver can provide detailed information. While Hinrichs tries to systematically investigate further, Törner mingles with the truck drivers and makes a surprising discovery.
