Wilsberg (Leonard Lansink) is plagued by a guilty conscience: his new client Britta Mantzke is found dead near the Aasee. Commissioner Springer (Rita Russek) and Overbeck (Roland Jankowsky) assume suicide. Nevertheless, Wilsberg decides to follow the order posthumously. He learns from Frauke Weiss (Julia Brendler), the sister of the dead, that Britta has fought back to life after a cancer. With the aid of a state-of-the-art fertilization clinic, she was even able to realize her long-term wish to have a baby.

Attorney Dominique Kuster (Ina Paule Klink) and her assistant Regula (Susi Banzhaf) find in the morning on the answering machine the call for help of a young man who asks the law office for assistance.
