Before it begins: Before applying the mask, the pores of the skin should be opened so that the active ingredients can optimally penetrate the skin and regenerate it from the inside out. So either use in the warm bath or repeatedly press a very warm washcloth on the face.

Tip: When applying masks, always avoid eyes and lip area. The skin on the eyes is very sensitive and can be easily irritated. You should also avoid getting masks in the eyes. If that happens, flush eyes with plenty of water.

Healing earth for impure or oily skin Healing earth dries out the skin a bit and also has a very pleasant peeling effect. Rinse carefully with plenty of water after 20 minutes at the latest.

Sauer makes fun - quark and lemon against big pores Mix two tablespoons of cold skimmed quark with one teaspoon of lemon juice (freshly squeezed) and apply to the face. Let it work for 15 minutes and rinse with plenty of water. Not only does this mask refresh, the citric acid also causes the pores to contract. The result: a smoother complexion. Instead of the citric acid, you can also mix honey (two tablespoons, previously spread in a water bath) under the quark. This is a great alternative for sensitive skin that can be quickly irritated by the citric acid.

Tea for swollen eyes To counteract sensitive, swollen eyes, tea is a popular remedy. Simply cool two teabags of chamomile tea after brewing and place on the eyelids for 10 to 20 minutes. Chamomile calms down - not just the stomach. After a night of drinking black tea refreshes tired eyes again. Also brew two teabags, let cool and place on the eyelids.

Tip: Do not throw away the tea, but enjoy with a teaspoon of honey.

Coffee peeling for soft skin Who would have thought that the annoying coffee grounds, which are usually thrown away carelessly in the morning, can be a real miracle cure for tired legs and cellulite? Gently heat a little olive oil in a small bowl in the microwave or on the stove. Add coffee grounds gradually, so that the exfoliation reaches a pleasant consistency. Distribute on the abdomen, legs and buttocks under the shower and rub off dead skin cells with circular movements. Wash well and cream after showering. An insider tip, not only for a softer skin. Because the caffeine contained in the coffee boosts the metabolism as well as the circulation and helps against small dents on thighs and buttocks. Tip: Place the peel of an untreated orange and an untreated lemon under the mass. The acid of the two citrus fruits is considered a miracle cure for small dents.

The vitamins A, B and C in their fruit juice, enzymes, mineral salts and essential oils activate the metabolism and thus tighten the connective tissue. Simply massage the inside of a hollowed-out pineapple shell into the breast with gentle pressure.
