Bond 25: The Bond Girls are known from these films

In the long history of the "James Bond" series, 007 could never complain about too little female eye-catcher. In fact, the potent double-zero agent to date has such a lot of Schäferstündchen show that he was awarded in the persiflage "Austin Powers" the title "agent in secret missionary position". Also in the upcoming, still untitled anniversary film "Bond 25" he gets to deal with pretty, flashy and / or dangerous Femmes fatales. But where do you know the Bond Girls?

The new stars

The most notable newcomer is Havana-born Cuban actress Ana de Armas (30). She has not worked in the Hollywood dream factory for more than five years, but she made her debut as a seductive beast in "Knock Knock" on the side of Keanu Reeves (54). This was followed by appearances in "War Dogs" and "Overdrive", but the most significant job of her career she landed in Denis Villeneuve (51) film "Blade Runner 2049" from 2017. In it, she embodied the virtual love of actor Ryan Gosling (38 ).

The second new Bond Girl face is Lashana Lynch (31). The Briton has made a name for herself through smaller TV appearances, such as in series such as "Doctors" or "Atlantis". From this year, however, her star seems to be growing rapidly. So she played in the blockbuster "Captain Marvel" as Maria "Photon" Rambeau with stars like Jude Law (46), Samuel L. Jackson (70) or, of course, title heroine Brie Larson (29). Now follows the next career step, just with Daniel Craig's (51) farewell "Bond".

By the way, both Ana de Armas and Lashana Lynch are only known to play in "Bond 25". Not even the name has been announced about their respective roles.

The returnees

This is not the case with at least two well-known "Bond" actresses. For example, Frenchwoman Léa Seydoux (33) will once again be the part of Madeleine Swann, with whom 007 has already taped "Specter" in the past film. According to initial information, at the beginning of "Bond 25", the agent could even retire with him in a house in Jamaica, before the new rogue Rami Malek (37) wants to get them on board.

Seydoux is well versed in "James Bond" agent action, after all, she previously played in "Mission: Impossible - Phantom Protocol" (2011) with Tom Cruise (56). For the most part, the 33-year-old was so far in her career but located in love movies or dramas.

The most constant female size in the life of the bustling agent may of course not be missed: Miss Moneypenny. In fact, since the beginning of the "Bond" series, the iconic secretary was only missing in Craig's first two appearances, "Casino Royale" and "A Quantum of Solace." Since "Skyfall" and "Specter" and now in "Bond 25" is Naomie Harris (42) as a cheeky Moneypenny on board.

The British actress with Jamaican roots gained worldwide fame in 2002 thanks to Danny Boyle's (62) end-time film "28 Days Later". This was followed by engagements in "Pirates of the Caribbean 2", the boxer drama "Southpaw" as well as the Oscar winner as "Best Film" of 2017, "Moonlight". Most recently, she was heard in the remake of "Mogli: Legend of the Jungle" in 2018.

Will a "Bond" lady return?

Will these four Bond Girls stay? Or does 007 still have to deal with another woman who made his life difficult in the 1980s? At that time Roger Moore (1927-2017) had to face the amazonic villain Mayday. That was then embodied by Grace Jones (70 today), which according to the US side "Page Six" a cameo appearance in "Bond 25" lie down. But then probably as a new character, after all, came Mayday in "James Bond 007 - In the face of death" actually in a huge explosion killed ...

Until "Bond 25" starts in the cinema, some patience is needed. The strip, which has been moved several times backwards, should be released in April 2020, if something does not go wrong again.
