Avatar: The shooting is already so advanced

For about a year, the filming of the two sequels of the science fiction hit "Avatar - Departure to Pandora". Now the responsible director James Cameron (64) announced in a video message on Twitter that at least the main actors do not have to go to the set anymore. Her work has already been completed. Sam Worthington (42), Zoe Saldana (40), Sigourney Weaver (69), Stephen Lang (66) and Kate Winslet (43) can now focus on other projects.

However, Cameron will continue shooting with supporting actors. Also, completing the complicated special effects is still a long way off. The two new films will be released in cinemas in 2020 and 2021, respectively. In a similar success as in part one, two more sequels are already being considered. These will then be shown in 2024 and 2025 on a big screen.
