Are ripped off at Aldi parents? NDR raises serious allegations

We are talking about products with Disney characters as a print. The NDR has bought from Aldi Nord and found out: The discounter has products in the Disney look in the sale, which are significantly more expensive than vegleichbare products.

Specifically, it is about ketchup, mineral water and French fries. All three products are available regularly at Aldi - and in a Disney version. What the NDR denounces: For Disney ketchup and Co. customers pay a hefty premium. And customers are mostly parents who want to make their children happy.

One thing is clear: to be able to print Disney motifs on the products, a license fee is due for Aldi or the manufacturers - but the NDR experts are sure that the premium is still too high. Also, the argument that, for example, the ketchup contains less sugar and the drinking water comes in a bottle with a special closure, the examiner did not apply.

And as always: A price comparison shopping is always worthwhile! The rule that we pay less on a flat rate, because we shop in the discounter or decide on large packs, is no longer valid!

Thunderclap (May 2024).
