Remove chicken from the foil. Thaw on the bottom of a large bowl with an inverted saucer or sieve - it is important that the chicken does not come into contact with the thawing liquid. The chicken should thaw in the refrigerator, not at room temperature! Pour away thawing liquid and do not mix with other foods. Rinse chicken thoroughly before preparation.

Wash dishes and utensils that have come into contact with chicken or the thawing water of frozen chicken thoroughly with hot soapy water and also wash your hands thoroughly!

At four degrees, a thawing chicken takes about twelve hours. Faster in the microwave: After 30 minutes, the chicken is thawed.
