Lacoste exchanges his famous crocodile logo!

For 85 years, the fashion label Lacoste is known for its polo shirts - unmistakable by the crocodile logo on the chest. But now the French brand, together with the animal welfare organization International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), has come up with an action to draw attention to endangered species.

"Save the Species": That's why the crocodile logo is replaced

For the "Save the Species" campaign, Lacoste now exchanges the crocodile for ten endangered species, such as the Sumatran tiger or the Burmese turtle. In total there are 1775 shirts with a new logo, the number of embroidered animals varies depending on the number of surviving animals.

frightening: So you can buy 450 specimens with the Anegada iguana and only 30 specimens with the California porpoise. A polo shirt costs between 150 and 180 euros. The proceeds go to 50 percent in the "Save the Species" program. A great campaign to raise awareness of endangered species!
